5.5 Administrative Withdrawal

Any student who is not enrolled at the Law School for more than three quarters may be administratively withdrawn from the Law School at the discretion of the Dean of Students and the Deputy Dean. Any student administratively withdrawn from the Law School will need to apply for readmission to resume a program of study. This policy does not apply to students on an approved leave of absence from the Law School. Students who are on leave of absence for more than six quarters will be administratively withdrawn from the Law School.

Students who are not registered by 5:00 p.m. on Friday of the 3rd week of the quarter will be placed on an administrative leave of absence in that quarter. At the beginning of the next quarter, if the student has failed to clear all restrictions, the student will be administratively withdrawn from the Law School by the Dean of Students (unless the student is on a documented non-administrative leave of absence).
