As the founder of Defiende Venezuela, in Caracas, Genesis has represented more than 2000 victims before international bodies and courts such as the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, the Interamerican Court of Human Rights, United Nations, and the International Criminal Court. Her expansive background in defending human rights extends to wrongful imprisonment, the investigation and adjudication of sexual violence perpetrators and torture.
Rodrigo Diamanti is the founder of a rule of law NGO in Venezuela. Diamanti has received the Reuters Foundation TrustLaw Collaboration Award for his work and has been named a Freedom Fellow by the Human Rights Foundation. In addition, Diamanti has been a fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School Ash Center for Democratic Governance and the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy.
