Anna Ivey, '97 on how the Law School taught her to argue and defend her arguments, and look at other viewpoints

The Law School taught me how to think how to construct my own arguments, defend and refine them, and how to unpack and think about the ideas of others. It's a life skill that serves me far beyond the circumference of legal issues. Every time I talk to someone who hasn't had the benefit of that education, I'm grateful for the way the Law School professors and students alike fired up synapses in my mind that I hadn't even known were there.
