Request to be granted access to a makeup class recording when it conflicts with a scheduled class

Students may submit this form if they have a makeup class scheduled during a regularly scheduled class session. Recording requests must be made at least seven business days in advance of the desired makeup class session. Only the makeup class can be recorded. Students may not request a recording of the regularly scheduled class and are expected to attend the regularly schedule class session in these instances.

Please note that although we make every attempt to record makeup classes, we are not always able to do so for a variety of reasons (technological failures, etc.). Therefore, we encourage you to make arrangements in advance to also obtain notes from your classmates.

It is the student's responsibility to notify the Office of the Registrar in the event that the time or location of the makeup class is changed from the time or location listed below.

By submitting my request, I understand and agree that:

  1. I will not share or disseminate the recordings provided to me by the Law School;

  2. I will not download and/or copy the recordings provided to me by the Law School;

  3. For one-quarter courses, the Law School will destroy all recordings within 7 days after the end of each quarter;

  4. For courses spanning more than one quarter, the Law School will destroy the recordings within 7 days after the conclusion of the course;

  5. If I violate this agreement I will be subject to disciplinary action and in some circumstances the Law School may need to report disciplinary proceedings to state bar authorities;

  6. I understand that the Law School strictly prohibits students from recording classes under any circumstances.
