Law School alumni enjoyed a weekend of special events April 28 through May 1. Reunion Weekend 2022 was the first in-person reunion since 2019.

Alumni who served in clerkships mingled with students interested in pursuing clerkships at the Alumni Clerkship Reception on Friday.
The All-Alumni Wine Mess provided an opportunity to catch up with friends.
The Class of 1972 celebrated their 50th reunion.
Alumni filled the halls on their way to classrooms to hear faculty masterclasses and Dean Thomas J. Miles’ “State of the Law School” address.
The Class of 1967 class discussion included a Q&A with former US Attorney General John Ashcroft, ’67; former US Representative David Minge, ’67; and former Vermont state Representative Duncan Kilmartin, ’67.
The Class of 2007 hosted an alumni panel, “State and Local Government in the Era of Hyper Partisanship.”
Dean Thomas J. Miles, the Clifton R. Musser Professor of Law and Economics, delivered his “State of the Law School” address.
Alumni and their families played lawn games in the Green Lounge.
Phil the Phoenix made an appearance for lunch.

Alumni gathered in the Green Lounge for a picnic lunch and ice cream treats.
Alumni returned to classrooms for faculty masterclasses. Jonathan S. Masur, the John P. Wilson Professor of Law, and Professor Bridget Fahey spoke on “The Law of Space.”
Daniel Abebe, a University of Chicago vice provost and the Harold J. and Marion F. Green Professor of Law, and Aziz Z. Huq, the Frank and Bernice J. Greenberg Professor of Law, spoke on “Race and Capitalism.”
Class dinners are a highlight of Reunion Weekend.
