The Chicago Law Foundation’s 27th annual auction took place on February 15, 2024.
This year’s theme was “Midway Masquerade” …
… and the CLF provided masquerade masks for those who didn’t dress for the occasion.
Professor Adam Davidson took his turn serving as auctioneer for the evening.
The evening’s performance included the Case Notes, a new a cappella group…
… as well as the Law School Musical Band.
Students had the opportunity to bid on items ranging from dinners with professors, to a boating outing with Professor Randall D. Schmidt, to an Art Institute tour with Professor Sharon R. Fairley, to birdwatching with Dean Thomas J. Miles.
Omar Adel, ’25, won a rock-climbing outing with Professor Josh Avratin.
The silent auction took place online with items such as a signed copy Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court; tickets to Cubs, White Sox, and Bulls; and trips to Costco.
Members of the community, including LLMs, enjoyed the opportunity to celebrate together.
The CLF raised more than $36,000 for public interest students.
