Allyson Ho, '00, Supreme Court Preview 2014

Ms. Ho is the co-chair of the U.S. Supreme Court and Appellate Litigation practice at Morgan Lewis. She has also provided exceptional service at the highest levels of government, including as special assistant to President George W. Bush and as counselor to Attorney General John Ashcroft. Ms. Ho graduated with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was named to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she was a member of the University of Chicago Law Review, articles editor of the University of Chicago Legal Forum, editor-in-chief of the symposium issue of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, and a recipient of both the Anne Watson Barber Award for Outstanding Service and the Casper Platt Award for best paper written by a law student. Following graduation, she went on to serve as a law clerk to Justice Sandra Day O'Connor of the United States Supreme Court and Judge Jacques L. Wiener, Jr. of the Fifth Circuit. Ms. Ho was previously an assistant professor of English at Asbury College.
