Recent Legal and Institutional Challenges at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development with Michael Strauss

Michael Strauss addressed recent legal and institutional challenges faced by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with a particular focus on Ukraine and Russia. The event, presented by the International Law Society, International Programs, and the Malyi Center, offered a deep dive into the evolving legal landscape at one of the world’s major financial institutions.
Michael Strauss has served as General Counsel at the EBRD since January 2020 and is a member of the Executive Committee and Crisis Management Team. Prior to joining EBRD, he represented the United States on the Board of the Asian Development Bank and was a Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for International Finance at the U.S. Treasury.
