Tamara McClatchey earned her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to this, she received her master’s degree from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and Spanish from North Park University. Prior to joining the Law School, she worked as the Director of Career Services & Recruitment Programs at Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is a member of NALP, through which she has served as a work group leader, conference speaker, and author.

Before transitioning to career services, Ms. McClatchey practiced corporate law at Jenner & Block for a number of years. Prior to joining the firm, she also worked as a legal intern in AT&T’s Midwest Legal Department. Before law school, she held several management and direct service roles in not-for-profit organizations focusing on services for children and families, mental health services, substance abuse treatment, and educational and recreational community programs.
