Pete Wentz is an executive director with APCO Worldwide, a leading strategic communications firm where he specializes in crisis planning and management and protection of corporate reputation. He has worked with clients in a variety of crisis situations, including executive malfeasance, class action litigation, alleged antitrust violations, bankruptcy and mergers and acquisitions. A lawyer by training, he previously served as Associate Dean at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and, prior to that, he served for almost 20 years as Vice President and General Counsel of a Fortune 500 consumer products company. He began his career as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. and then was an associate at Sidley Austin. He is the former President of Friends of the Chicago River and a former board member of Chicago Public Radio.
