Jared Grusd is CEO of Gracenote and Nielsen Content and a member of Nielsen's senior management team. He is also co-founder of Ethiqly AI, a venture-backed company building AI solutions for classrooms. 

Previously, he held executive leadership roles at some of the world's most iconic companies. He served as Chief Strategy Officer at Snapchat, where he also led content, international expansion, partnerships, and corporate development; General Counsel, Global Head of Corporate Development, and Corporate Secretary to the board at Spotify; Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Corporate Development at Chime; and Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at AOL. He was also CEO of HuffPost and SVP of News and Information at Verizon Media. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Google. He also co-founded Shake, a legal-tech startup acquired by LegalShield, and has served on the boards of SoulCycle and Newsela. 

Jared teaches at Columbia Business School, USC Marshall School of Business, and the University of Chicago Law School. He serves on the External Advisory Board of the University of Pennsylvania's College of Arts & Sciences and on the Advisory Council of the University of Chicago Law School, and advises AI policy initiatives at both institutions. 

He holds an MBA from Columbia, a JD with honors from the University of Chicago, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been named to Fortune's Five of Tech's Most Powerful Lawyers, Adweek's Young Influentials, Business Insider's Silicon Alley 100, and the Techweek 100.
