Frequently Asked Questions
Which classes are celebrating a milestone year during Reunion 2025?
Class years celebrating their 5th through 50th reunions: 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020.
What if my graduating class isn’t celebrating a Reunion?
The Law School welcomes back all alumni to attend the Reunion Weekend All-Alumni Wine Mess, which will take place on Friday, May 2nd from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Morgan MFG in the West Loop.
How do I register?
Registration will open in the spring of 2025. Registration costs for all events will be available at that time. Stay tuned!
Can I attend if I do not pre-register?
We can accept walk-in attendees if space is still available, but advance registration is highly encouraged. Registering before the deadline helps us to better accommodate you, reserves your space, and gives us a more accurate idea of how many meals to order.
Please note: Any special meal requests must be made before the final registration deadline. Our ability to honor on-site special requests is very limited.
Can I bring my family?
Alumni are encouraged to bring family and friends to celebrate the weekend together. Children are welcome to attend Saturday activities at the Law School. The Picnic Lunch will include games and activities.
All other events are recommended for adults only. Please email lawreunion@uchicago.edu with any questions.
Are there childcare options available?
If you are bringing your family for a weekend of fun in Chicago, childcare services are available from a number of local providers. The University does not endorse or assume liability for any child-care service provider.
Will there be transportation to the Law School on Saturday?
There will be shuttle service on Saturday to and from the Gleacher Center and the Law School in the morning and the afternoon. The Gleacher Center is located in Chicago's downtown, just off the Magnificent Mile.
Complimentary parking will be available in the lot behind the Law School on Saturday.
For more information about public transportation and getting around the city, visit the logistics and lodging page that will be available later this winter.
Where should I stay?
The Law School has arranged for blocks of rooms to be held, at a discounted rate, at downtown hotels. Additionally, the University of Chicago has partnered with several hotels in the Chicago area to offer discounted rates to alumni. Please see our logistics and lodging page that will be available later this winter.
Where do I go when I arrive in Chicago?
Please visit the registration table at each event to check-in and receive Reunion Weekend information.
Where can I learn more about other activities taking place in and around Chicago during the Weekend?
We’re thrilled that you will be returning to Chicago and hope that you can take full advantage of both the activities the Law School has planned as well as some of Chicago’s many attractions. Please visit the logistics and lodging page (available later this winter) for a list of activities and attractions in Chicago and for additional transportation and logistical information.
