John Koski is Global Chief Legal Officer Emeritus for Dentons. During his 19-year tenure as the firm’s US General Counsel and then Global Chief Legal Officer, John was responsible for meeting the legal needs of the world's largest law firm, generating multibillion-dollar annual revenues across 160+ locations in 80+ countries with 13,000+ lawyers and business professionals. John chaired the Global Risk Management Committee, served on the Global Management Committee, and reported to the Global Board. Across his 30+ years at the firm, John regularly advised the firm and other clients on governance, structure, litigation, transactions, insurance, regulation, compliance, investigations, and ethics matters.
Since 2019, John has been a Lecturer in Law at the University of Chicago School of Law, where he teaches professional responsibilities applicable to representing business organizations. John also is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the American Bar Association’s Center for Professional Responsibility; a founder and member of several peer groups; and has conducted more than 100 accredited lectures, seminars, and other presentations on legal ethics, risk, and professionalism topics.
