Fox Rothschild LLP congratulates Elizabeth D. Sigety and John R. Gotaskie, Jr., who were named “Legal Players” by 1851 Franchise, an award recognizing the highest profile attorneys in franchising.

Sigety, co-chair of the firm’s Franchising, Licensing & Distribution Practice Group and of the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Practice Group, regularly advises clients on venture capital and angel financing and mergers and acquisitions as well as in franchising, securities, private placements, franchise regulatory matters and franchise agreements. Recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive by the International Franchise Association (IFA), she also co-founded and served as co-chair of the IFA’s Philadelphia Chapter of the Women’s Franchise Network and is currently on the Women’s Franchise Committee. Sigety is a frequent speaker and writer on issues related to franchising.

Sigety received her B.A., cum laude, from Yale College and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
