The Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) offers a wide range of programming to address the diverse social, cultural, religious, and intellectual interests of Jewish students.
JLSA sponsors speakers and lunch talks on topics such as interfaith cooperation, religious freedom, and Jewish Law. Our past speakers have included prominent federal judges, religious leaders, civil rights lawyers, public officials, journalists, and academics.
JLSA’s cultural and religious programming includes ever-popular Friday night dinners and holiday celebrations (including a Hanukkah Coffee Mess and Wine Mess Purim Party).
JLSA members also participate in Chicago’s vibrant Jewish legal community, including the Jewish United Fund’s Young Lawyers Group mentorship program and social events hosted by the Decalogue Society, Chicago’s Jewish bar association.
