Christian Legal Society

The Christian Legal Society (CLS) is a group of students from a wide range of denominational backgrounds, who, on top of their involvement in the law school and their local churches, come together as a group to encourage each other in their faith. The main feature of CLS is a weekly meeting for prayer, Scripture, and companionship, at which anyone is welcome. This year, the group is using the Book of Common Prayer as a basis for its weekly meetings.

Interacting with the broader law school community, CLS also sponsors campus lunch talks on topics like religious liberty in the U.S., the interaction of faith and the legal profession, and Christian perspectives on reform and social justice.
