The Leaders of Color’s Politics & Identity Series (P&I) would like to invite Law School students to its first community conversation, “Diversity in Politics!” We will be discussing topics such as equal representation in legislature and the intersection of personal identities and political beliefs. This is the first in a series of conversations that will focus on topics pertaining to both politics and identity (including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and socioeconomic status) with a strong focus on intersectionality. Topics for future conversations will be student-suggested. P&I aims to create a space where students can have thoughtful, in-depth dialogues on topics that are both timely and relevant to their daily lives. All students are welcome and refreshments will be served.
