Bigelow Practical Writing Presentation: Tax and Estate Planning & Solo Practice
Guest presenter Ron Larson will discuss the drafting of legal documents for tax and estate planning. Mr. Larson also will describe his experience as a solo practitioner, including the challenges and benefits of this practice setting. Mr. Larson is the principal of Ronald F. Larson P.C., with offices in Sun City and Scottsdale, Arizona. He focuses on estate and gift taxation, estate planning, and probate. Mr. Larson is former president of the National Society of Tax Professionals and a longtime editor of the Federal Tax Alert. Mr. Larson recently served on the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council and, previously, on the I.R.S.’s Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee. Mr. Larson retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army JAG Corp, having served four years on active duty in Germany and twenty years in the Army Reserves. For eighteen years, he was a part-time appellate judge of the Arizona Court of Military Appeals. Mr. Larson graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming and magna cum laude from Arizona State University Law School.
