Open to the public

As part of LGBTQ Week at the Law School, OutLaw presents a program on United States v. Windsor.  On October 18, 2012, Paul, Weiss won a historic challenge to the Defense of Marriage Act on behalf of Edith Windsor.  In the wake of the Second Circuit's holding that DOMA is unconstitutional and that homosexuals constitute a quasi-suspect class, the case has been granted certiorari review at the United States Supreme Court.  That case was argued March 27, 2013, and a decision is expected in June.  Paul, Weiss presents a panel on that litigation and its challenges.  Generously sponsored by Paul, Weiss
