Introduction to Law and Economics with Professor William HubbardMonday, December 3rd at 12:15 PMRoom EPizza and drinks providedProfessor Hubbard is an Assistant Professor of Law at The Law School. He received his JD from The Law School with High Honors and clerked for the Hon. Patrick E. Higginbotham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He also completed the Ph.D. program in Economics at the University of Chicago. Before joining the faculty in 2011, he was a Kauffman Legal Research Fellow and Lecturer in Law at the Law School. His research interests include economic analysis of litigation, courts, and civil procedure, as well as family, education, and labor economics.The Law and Economics Society is a student organization that holds events that inform and educate students about the most recent work done in the field. The Society hopes to provide intellectual stimulation for those who want to take advantage of the close proximity to influential Law and Economics thinkers that students attending the Law School are fortunate enough to have.
