Martha Nussbaum, the Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics, will present the lecture "Not for Profit: Why Democracy Needs Liberal Education" on Jan. 28 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The lecture, which is sponored by the university's Department of English, begins at 7:30 p.m. It will be held in Doc Rando Hall in the Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center. Parking is available at Cottage Grove Ave. and Maryland Parkway.
