Professor Emily Buss will meet with St. Louis area alumni on the evening of Thursday, May 11 at the home of Dan Ellis, '63, to discuss her Chicago Policy Initiative project on foster care. She will discuss how students have been involved in her research, the challenge of doing "real world" work from an academic setting, and some of the preliminary findings about the underlying problem and their ideas for improvement.
