Welcome to the University of Chicago Law School web chat page.  Once you have read Occasional Paper #46 which reprints Professor Geof Stone's July 2005 congressional testimony in favor of a federal journalist-source privilege, we invite you to send your questions for Professor Stone to mscott@uchicago.edu. 
 
Unfortunately, in our first venture into web chatting, we have run into technical difficulties.  We will not be hosting our scheduled discussion of Professor Geof Stone's Occasional Paper #46. Thank you to everyone who submitted questions for this chat.  Professor Stone will still answer those questions, and we will be posting them on the website within the next week.  If you have a question that you have not submitted, please send it to mscott@uchicago.edu by Tuesday, November 15.  If you submitted a question ahead of time, we will email you directly with the transcript of Professor Stone's answers to all questions submitted.
 
We would like to know if our alumni were interested in this new format for discussion.  If you would like to see another chance to chat in the future, please email mscott@uchicago.edu so that we know that we have interest from our alumni.

In addition, Professor Stone met with New York area alumni for a discussion on November 10, and the video recording of this event will be posted on the Law School website in late November.
