Mr. Feeney is a partner at Miller Shakman Levine & Feldman LLP, where his commercial litigation practice includes defending legal malpractice suits brought against large law firms and advising lawyers and law firms regarding their professional and ethical obligations. Mr. Feeney is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers and the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility. He previously chaired the Chicago Bar Association’s Committee on Attorney Malpractice.

Before joining Miller Shakman, Mr. Feeney practiced at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and clerked for Judge Barbara B. Crabb of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from DePaul University in 1991 and received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School in 1994, with honors.

Mr. Feeney is on the Board of Directors and is the past Board Chair of Chicago Youth Centers and is a Board Member and is on the Board of MarketPlace: Handwork of India, a fair trade NGO.
