Teresa Wilton Harmon is a partner at Sidley Austin LLP. Ms. Harmon's practice focuses on financial transactions and commercial law, including all articles of the Uniform Commercial Code. She is also a member of Sidley's Office of General Counsel, focusing on firm risk management and professional responsibility questions. Ms. Harmon is active in several professional organizations, including the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers, the American Law Institute, the American Bar Association, and the Permanent Editorial Board for the Uniform Commercial Code. Ms. Harmon graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a member of The Law Review and President of the Law Students Association. She clerked for the Honorable Phyllis Kravitch of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
