Alexander “Sandy” Allison
Alexander C. Allison (Sandy to all) passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024, in his Glen Ellyn home after a long battle with Lewy Body dementia. He was 86 years old. Sandy was born in New York City in 1938 and grew up in Garden City on Long Island. He attended Garden City High School where he met Rinda Yust, his future wife, while working on the school newspaper. Sandy graduated from Amherst College in 1960 and married Rinda the same year. Sandy attended the University of Chicago law school earning his degree in 1963.
