Chris is a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on the tax aspects of complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, REIT and real estate transactions, investment fund formations, recapitalizations, and in- and out-of-court restructurings. Prior to joining Kirkland, Chris clerked for Judge Joseph W. Nega of the United States Tax Court.
