Presenting student organizations: American Constitution Society Supreme Court and Appellate Society

The American Constitution Society and the Supreme Court and Appellate Society will be hosting Donald Sherman and Adam Rappaport of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) for a conversation on Trump v. Anderson, the recent Supreme Court case in which the Court unanimously held that states could not determine eligibility for federal office, including the presidency, under Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), is a nonprofit watchdog organization devoted to U.S. government ethics and accountability. Founded in 2003 as a counterweight to conservative government watchdog groups such as Judicial Watch, CREW works to expose ethics violations and corruption by government officials and institutions and to reduce the role of money in politics.
