Weil Elects 16 New Partners and Announces New Counsel Class

International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that it has elected 16 new partners, effective January 1, 2024.

“We’re proud to call these outstanding lawyers our partners,” said Weil Executive Partner Barry Wolf. “Each is a brilliant practitioner with an exceptional record of client service. Together, they reflect our intentional focus on expanding our pipeline of diverse talent. It’s a pleasure to welcome them to the partnership.”

The new partners are based in the Firm’s Boston, Houston, London, Miami, New York, Silicon Valley, and Washington, D.C. offices. This is the sixth consecutive year that at least 45 percent of Weil’s newly promoted partners in the U.S. are women, racially and ethnically diverse, and/or LGBTQ+. Additionally, 11 of 16 members of this year’s global class identify as members of those historically underrepresented groups.

Weil also announced its newly appointed counsel class—which includes 38 individuals from all of the Firm’s four departments who are based across offices in the United States and Europe.
