David Steven Tenner
David Steven Tenner, 71, passed away on May 5th, 2023 in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. David was born on June 1st, 1951 in Chicago, where he lived his entire life. He was a scholar who pursued his interests of jazz history, political science, and poetry. David graduated from Jamieson Elementary School and Mather High School before attending Northwestern University for his BA with Distinction in History, graduating with honors in 1972. He then received his JD from the University of Chicago Law School in 1975, where he graduated in the top 15% of his class. David clerked under Justice Seymour Simon of the Illinois Appellate Court before pursuing both private practice and working directly under John J Casey Esq in the late 1970s.
