Tilden Katz provides strategic communications and crisis communications counsel to clients across a range of industries.
A former litigation attorney, Tilden has advised numerous boards of directors, corporate executives, and outside counsel during critical events. He has counseled both plaintiffs and defendants in high-profile matters, including antitrust, contract, class-action, employment, financial, labor, malpractice, product liability, regulatory, toxic tort, and white-collar criminal cases.
He has helped market-leading organizations, including Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Chemours, Exxon, Field Museum, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Merck, NCAA, Northwestern University, Office Max, Pomona College, Redflex Traffic Systems, Tribune Publishing and Walgreens.
Prior to joining Grove Partners, Tilden was a senior principal at Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies and a managing director at FTI Consulting where he helped lead the litigation communications practice. Earlier, Tilden co-founded and led the Chicago office of APCO Worldwide for eight years.
Tilden earned his B.A., with honors, from Wesleyan University and his J.D. from Northwestern University Law School.
