William H. Bright Jr. confirmed as justice of CT Supreme Court
The General Assembly confirmed the judicial nominations of William H. Bright Jr. to the Supreme Court, Robin L. Wilson to the Appellate Court and a dozen others to the Superior Court on Wednesday.

Bright, 62, of Columbia, is the chief judge of the Appellate Court and will succeed Raheem Mullins as an associate justice, a position Mullins vacated upon his confirmation as chief justice of the court. Wilson, 64, of New Haven, is a Superior Court judge and will succeed Bright as an Appellate Court judge.
In Bright and Wilson, Lamont chose jurists with long experience on the bench.
