Randolph Stone to Receive the Leonard Jay Schrager Award from the Chicago Bar Foundation
The University of Chicago Law School is proud to announce that Randolph N. Stone, Clinical Professor of Law, will receive the Chicago Bar Foundation's 2009 Leonard Jay Schrager Award of Excellence.
The Chicago Bar Foundation honors an exemplary attorney in academia who has made significant and lasting contributions to improving access to justice for the less fortunate. The Award is named in honor of Leonard Jay Schrager, a distinguished Professor and the former Dean of The John Marshall Law School who served with distinction as President of both The Chicago Bar Foundation and the Chicago Bar Association. The Award is generously endowed by the law firm of Reed Smith LLP and its partners and allows the recipient to designate a special Chicago Bar Foundation grant to the legal aid program or public interest law organization of his or her choice.
