Lisa Monaco, ’97, Named Distinguished Scholar in Residence at NYU Law

Former US deputy AG Lisa Monaco returns to NYU Law

Lisa Monaco returns to NYU Law as a distinguished scholar in residence after serving as US deputy attorney general from 2021 to 2025, Dean Troy McKenzie ’00 announced on February 3. Monaco first joined the Law School in 2017 as a distinguished senior fellow affiliated with the Reiss Center on Law and Security and the Center for Cybersecurity. She will resume her affiliation with both centers.
