Judge Peter J. Messitte
Judge Peter Messitte passed away on January 11, 2025, in Chevy Chase, MD. He was surrounded by his wife Susan, his son Zach, and his daughter Abby. Messitte was born on July 17, 1941, and grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. A graduate of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School's distinguished class of 1959, Messitte got his B.A. from Amherst College and his J.D. from the University of Chicago.
