Chicago Unbound Hits 10 Million Downloads
In 2013, the D'Angelo Law Library launched a program to create a digital repository that preserves and provides access to University of Chicago Law School scholarship. The name 'Chicago Unbound' was chosen for the repository to illustrate a philosophy of providing unfettered access to knowledge that was, and still is, central to the Law School. With its current breadth of scholarship, publications, historical collections, journals, lectures, and events, Chicago Unbound represents the past, present, and future of UChicago Law's knowledge. Almost 10 years after its launch, Chicago Unbound continues to enable the use of the rich output of the UChicago Law School community and has had a global impact on access to those resources.
This infographic depicts who has accessed Chicago Unbound in conjunction with its blossom overtime to achieve 10 million downloads across 93% of the countries, colonies, and territories in the world.
