Andy Lee, ’89, 1963-2024
Andy Lee
Andy was one of a kind - quirky, sarcastic, loving, hardworking to a fault, funny, a cherished coworker and mentor. He loved, loved, loved his lattes. He was perhaps the best thrift store shopper the world has ever seen. By the way, does anyone want a chocolate fountain? We have three.
Andy, the youngest of four boys, was born in Los Angeles, CA to Paul and Jane Lee. His family eventually settled in Elm Grove, WI. He attended Brookfield Central High School where he earned his Eagle Scout Award and was the proud founder of the Middle Earth Club. He was even prouder of the fact that the Club fielded two volleyball teams. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota, he attended the University of Chicago Law School.
While living in Chicago Andy met Debbie, his future wife, at a New Year’s Eve party. Three months later he finally gave Debbie a call for their first date and the rest, as they say, is history. After law school they moved to New York City for a year before finding their home in Saint Paul, MN.
