Room V
12:15 PM - 1:20 PM

Arthur Traldi works in the rule of law and litigation surrounding very serious crimes. Primary areas of work include legal services, domestic and international criminal law, litigation, trial practice and advocacy, transitional justice, rule of law, and human rights. Among his professional commitments, Arthur serves as a co-chair of the American Bar Association's International Criminal Law committee. Arthur has spoken to students at colleges and universities throughout the United States, taught continuing legal education, and participated in training judges and prosecutors doing complex litigation in a variety of different countries.

The Diversity Scholar Speaker Series brings together members of our law school community to discuss topics varying in subject that promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Students are encouraged to engage in dialogue with invited guests. This event is co-sponsored by the Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA).

This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements, and is a mask-optional. We strongly encourage unvaccinated individuals and those preferring masks to do so. Participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.
