Lan Diep, is an AmeriCorps with the Mississippi Center for Justice (MCJ), will be speaking about the work of MCJ, its clients, and what brought him to work with the organization.

He supports the work of a regional oil disaster legal advocacy team that provides outreach to communities affected by the BP Deepwater Horizon oil disaster in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. His position is jointly funded by the Mississippi Center for Justice, Legal Services of Alabama, and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. Lan is certain his year serving as an AmeriCorps Fellow will be a challenge and a learning experience of a lifetime and he looks forward to rising to meet the occasion.
