Join UChicago NLG and NLG Chicago for the first Legal Observer training of the year. Legal Observers attend mass demonstrations at the request of activists and organizers to document police activities (i.e., arrests, use of force, and intimidation) and provide notes to defense attorneys. Past clients have included Black Lives Matter, Assata's Daughters, and Jewish Voice for Peace/IfNotNow.
