Michael Paulsen is the Distinguished University Chair and Professor of Law at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. He holds a BA from Northwestern University, an MA from Yale Divinity School, and a JD from Yale Law School, where he was editor of the Yale Law Journal. After graduation, Professor Paulsen worked at the Department of Justice in both the Office of Legal Counsel and Criminal Division. He has published over ninety scholarly articles and book chapters on a variety of constitutional law topics.
Will Baude is a Professor of Law and the Aaron Director Research Scholar at the University of Chicago Law School. He holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a JD from Yale Law School. After graduation, Professor Baude clerked for then-Judge Michael McConnell on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and Chief Justice John Roberts on the United States Supreme Court. Professor Baude is a leading scholar of constitutional law and interpretation and the director of the University of Chicago Law School's Constitutional Law Institute.
