Martha Nussbaum Moderates In the Shadow of Roe: Feminist Perspectives on Sex-and-Genetic-Selective Abortion"

2/7

Open to the public

An interdisciplinary panel of scholars engages in a conversation exploring the questions that sex-selective and genetic-selective abortion pose to feminist thinkers. While new restrictions on reproductive rights invoke the need to limit discrimination based on sex and impairment, feminists must confront the limits of legal thinking for guiding our understanding of reproduction.

Moderated by Martha Nussbaum, University of Chicago
