Please join the Domestic and Sexual Violence Project in welcoming Naiara Testai and Erika Asgeirsson, attorneys at National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), for a timely discussion on the Intersections of Immigration, Domestic Violence, and Sex Trafficking.
The NIJC is a Chicago-headquartered center affiliated with the Heartland Alliance that "is dedicated to ensuring human rights protections and access to justice for all immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers." Naiara Testai works on the Immigration Court help desk team and is part of the general immigrant legal defense project, while Erika Asgeirsson is part of the counter-trafficking project.
