IJ Clinic presents "Litigating for Economic Liberty in Chicago"
2/11
Open to the public
Grab a free lunch, and then learn how a public interest lawsuit comes together--as well as how you can be a part of it! Litigators from the Institute for Justice (IJ) will speak about their upcoming legal challenge to Chicago's irrational ban on flower peddling, which unfairly harms aspiring entreprenuers who simply want to make an honest living. Participants will have the opportunity to help locate potential plaintiffs in the days leading up to Valentine's Day, and IJ staff will share strategies for being an effective community advocate for economic liberty in Chicago.
