10/27

Open to the public

Professor Alison Siegler, director of the Federal Criminal Justice Clinic, will present on a series of currently litigated cases in the Northern District of Illinois. Professor Siegler's clients were selected by law enforcement agents as targets for elaborate sting operations. Siegler and her colleagues received an unprecedented order for limited discovery to determine if the government unlawfully targeted these suspects based on race. Professor Siegler will discuss the challenges of the litigation and its potential repercussions.

This event is co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society and Defenders. This event is free and open to the public but seating may be limited. Lunch provided.
