ILS, HRLS, and LWC invite you to a special lunch talk with Nasrin Sotoudeh, a renowned Iranian human rights lawyer who has defended political activists, journalists, and women’s rights advocates—including those arrested for appearing in public without a hijab. She has faced imprisonment and persecution for her work and was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. Her ongoing fight for human rights was the subject of the 2020 documentary Nasrin, filmed in secret in Iran.
