The Corporate Lab Speaker Series Presents: Phil Bach on Reading and Understanding Financial Statements
Phil Bach is a Director in the Chicago office of McGladrey and works in their Financial Advisory Services practice. He joined the practice in 2013 after eight years at a Big Four forensic practice. Since 1999, Mr. Bach has been conducting forensic accounting engagements involving government entities and companies in a variety of industries and works with clients to design, implement, and evaluate anti-fraud controls. He performs accounting investigations and has experience investigating financial statement fraud, employee misconduct issues, embezzlements and other white collar frauds. Mr. Bach works with attorneys and companies providing consultation for litigation and expert testimony and has been engaged as a neutral arbitrator. During the lunch session, Mr. Bach will present an explanatory overview of how to read financial statements, a crucial skill for young lawyers. Lunch will be served. This event is open to the public, but seating may be limited.
