The University of Chicago Law School is proud to present the Third Annual Chicago's Best Ideas series. On Wednesday, February 2, 2005, the Law School will present a special entry in the series entitled "A Tribute to Aaron Director: the Founder of Law and Economics at Chicago." Three speakers will discuss aspects of Professor Director's life and work: Gary Becker, University Professor in the Departments of Economics and Sociology, William Landes, Clifton R. Musser Professor of Law and Economics at the Law School, and Stephen Stigler, Ernest DeWitt Burton Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Statistics and the College. The presentation will take place in the Auditorium of the University of Chicago Law School at 12:15pm. The event is free and open to the public, but please note that seating is limited.
