Andy Grewal teaches tax law, administrative law, and constitutional law at the University of Iowa. Professor Grewal has been cited by both the United States Supreme Court and the United States Tax Court in tax shelter and regulatory interpretation cases. His research on constitutional issues.

Daniel Hemel’s research focuses on taxation, administrative law, and federal courts. Professor Hemel clerked for Associate Justice Elena Kagan on the United States Supreme Court and served as visiting counsel at the Joint Committee on Taxation. Professor Hemel’s academic work has been cited by the United States Supreme Court and multiple Circuit Courts. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and others
