Please join Sidley Austin transactional attorneys, Global Finance Partner Anny Huang and Insurance Associate Zeshawn Qadir for a discussion of the career paths, experience in transactional law and at Sidley, and experience as diverse attorneys. 

Anny Huang is a partner in Sidley’s Chicago office and serves as chair of alternative assets in the Global Finance practice. She represents and advises international financial institutions, leading investment funds and public and private corporations. Anny’s practice includes structured financings, cash flow and asset based leverage facilities, private debt and financings of alternative assets, including financings for investment funds and asset managers (such as fund-of-fund facilities, margin loans, capital call facilities, repurchase agreements, derivatives and warehouse loans), single family rental and mortgage securitizations, structured facilities for alternative assets (such as hedge fund interests, private equity investments, insurance commissions and containers), mezzanine and second lien financings.

Zeshawn Qadir is an associate in the Insurance and Financial Services group of the firm’s Chicago office. Zeshawn graduated from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a Comments Editor for the Chicago Journal of International Law. Zeshawn graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Finance. Prior to joining Sidley, Zeshawn was a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Fellow at the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Law School.
